**ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS, WEAPONS POLICY, PHOTO POLICY ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE**
Collective Con is a family friendly convention. Fans of all ages will attend our event. Please use common sense, be considerate of others and be aware of your surroundings.
Props may be inspected at any time during Collective Con. Depending on the realism, your prop may be inspected by multiple staff members during the event.
Oversized props that pose a mobility hazard including through doors or stairways are prohibited. We recommend dimensions less that 5 feet in any direction.
Heavy props that may cause damage to the property or other attendees, is restricted.
Cover your body parts. Paint is not considered a costume and can not be used to cover a body part that would not normally be showing. If your costume is deemed too revealing or offensive, you will be asked to cover up or change.
No roller skates, skateboards and scooters will be allowed inside of the convention.
All weapons must be checked in before entering Collective Con. No functional weapons are allowed at Collective Con. We will have a designated weapon check area.
Replica swords or metal object that hold an edge of any type, are not allowed. (Claws, Katana, Knives, etc). Wooden, PVC and other non-harmful materials are welcome inside.
All weapons must be easily distinguishable from a real weapon. We ask that all prop guns have an orange tip. No functional projectile weapons and or toys that are modified into props are allowed.
No explosives or chemicals including, but not limited to, fireworks, smoke pots, flash paper, etc.
If a staff member feels your prop is at any time unsafe to guests, they will ask you to return it to your vehicle. If you refuse, you will be immediately escorted out of the convention.
By entering Collective Con, all attendees agree to have their photos taken by Collective Con staff for promotional purposes.
Photography of media guests and invited celebrities is prohibited. Each guest has their own photo policy which varies from individual to individual. Media and some exceptions exempt only with express permissions given by the celebrity or their representative.
Photographers may not set up any lighting structures or backdrops or obstruct the flow of convention traffic.
Please ask before you take a photograph of another attendee. Just because someone is dressed up does not mean they want their photo taken. If said person says no to your request, please refrain from photographing them.
All minors under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
